Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Develop and maintain user-facing features using ReactJS and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable components and libraries for future use.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and services.
- Write clean, modular, and efficient code to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Implement state management using tools like Redux, Context API, or similar.
- Optimize application for maximum performance across a wide range of devices and browsers.
- Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and work with the team to establish best practices.
- Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues in existing applications.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and ensure pixel-perfect implementations.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and tools.
Preferred candidate profile
- 5+ years of experience in ReactJS development.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, ES6+, and ReactJS fundamentals.
- Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, SASS and responsive design principles.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and modern HTTP clients (Axios, Fetch)
- Experience in writing unit tests using tools like Jest, Mocha, or Enzyme.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles
- Familiarity with modern build tools like Webpack, Babel, ESLint, etc.
- Experience with UI/UX design tools and implementing pixel-perfect designs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and integration.
- Experience working with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar.
Proficiency with IDEs like IntelliJ (including cursor tools), and other relevant development tools
