Job Title: ServiceNow Architect
Job Description
As a ServiceNow Architect, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow solutions to meet our customers' needs. You will collaborate with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow configurations and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather requirements, Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into design (technical) specifications.
- Configure ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, and UI configurations to optimize processes and improve user experience.
- Develop custom applications, modules, and scripts using ServiceNow technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Glide API, AngularJS).
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications and systems using REST APIs, web services, and other integration methods.
- Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the stability, performance, and security of ServiceNow instances.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and end users.
- Stay updated on ServiceNow platform updates, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve our ServiceNow solutions.
- Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new ServiceNow modules, plugins, and features.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure compliance with internal standards and policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Experience with ServiceNow platform components.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Application Developer is desired.
- Experience or certification with one or more products (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, and CSM) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting (e.g., Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies).
- Experience with ServiceNow REST APIs, web services, and integrations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Agile and hybrid processes is a plus.
- Experience with ITIL is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified ServiceNow Administrator, Certified ServiceNow Developer) are a plus.
