Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer to join our NSP Documentation Team in Bangalore. In this role, you will create clear, user-focused technical content including user guides, developer documentation, in-product help, and video scripts to support our innovative network management solutions. You ll work closely with global R&D teams in an Agile environment, manage multiple projects, and contribute to high-quality product documentation that enhances the user experience.
You Have:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technical writing with a strong command of topic-based authoring.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in XML authoring tools and Markdown.
- Hands-on experience with Git for version control. Familiarity with Agile development processes and collaboration within scrum teams.
- Strong research and analytical skills to gather and validate technical information.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence for project and content management.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience in the telecommunications or network management domain.
- Ability to write video scripts and develop interactive in-product help. Working knowledge of Python or JavaScript.
- Develop accurate, topic-based documentation including user guides, developer guides, installation manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with R&D, QA, and PLM teams in an Agile environment to align content with product development.
- Research and analyze complex network management features to gather source information.
- Create interactive in-product help and write scripts for instructional videos.
- Revise and maintain documentation to reflect feature updates and customer feedback.
- Ensure content quality, consistency, and compliance with company documentation standards.
- Use XML authoring tools, Markdown, and version control systems like Git.
- Manage documentation tasks using Jira and collaborate via Confluence.
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and contribute creative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
