- Job Title: Ghee Operator Department: Production Location: Gari Jahan Singh (Shamshabad) Road Agra Interview Location: Noida Sector 62 Job Summary: The Ghee Operator is responsible for managing the production of ghee in accordance with company standards. The role involves overseeing the ghee-making process, ensuring product quality, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety and hygiene standards. The Tetra Pak Machine Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Tetra Pak machines used for packaging liquid or semi-liquid products like milk, or ghee. The role ensures smooth operation and compliance with quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Production Operations: Operate and monitor ghee production machinery, including butter melting, clarification, and packaging units. Maintain optimal temperature and process parameters for ghee production. Ensure the production meets quality and quantity targets. 2. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular checks to ensure the ghee meets quality standards, such as texture, color, and aroma. Work closely with the Quality Control team for sampling and testing. 3. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of ghee production equipment. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime. Conduct routine cleaning and preventive maintenance of Tetra Pak machines. Diagnose and resolve mechanical or electrical issues in coordination with the maintenance team. 4. Compliance and Documentation: Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards in the production area. Maintain accurate production logs and records. 5. Coordination: Collaborate with the procurement and storage teams to ensure the availability of raw materials. Coordinate with packaging teams for the timely packing of finished products. 6. Machine Operations: Operate Tetra Pak machines efficiently to meet daily production targets. Set up, calibrate, and monitor the machine during operation. Ensure proper sterilization and filling of Tetra Pak cartons. 7. Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks on packaging for consistency, seal integrity, and accurate filling. Identify and address any defects in the packaged products. 8. Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to health and safety protocols in the production area. Maintain a clean and organized workstation. 9. Documentation and Reporting: Record machine performance, downtime, and maintenance activities. Report production outputs and machine issues to supervisors. Key Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of ghee production processes and standards. Ability to operate and troubleshoot ghee production machinery. Familiarity with food safety and hygiene protocols. Attention to detail and quality assurance. Strong problem-solving and technical skills. Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting Tetra Pak machinery. Knowledge of food-grade packaging standards and safety protocols. Basic mechanical and electrical skills for equipment maintenance. Attention to detail and accuracy in packaging processes. Qualifications and Experience: Education: o Diploma or certification in Dairy Technology or ITI certification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Food Processing, or a related field. Experience: 2-4 years of experience in ghee production or a similar role in a dairy processing plant and operating Tetra Pak machines in the food or beverage industry.
