Job Description
- The ideal candidate will help to solve complex business problems from strategy to execution. The skills and responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to: Strategy: Conduct Research and compile data/information on various topics as needed to support decision-making and strategic planning Handle and analyse large amounts of data and draw meaningful business insights Gather market and competitive intelligence to prepare and regularly update the competitive landscape Provide business analytic strength to help drive strategic initiatives and provide insights for business leaders to support strategic decision-making Work with core business teams to streamline business and operation processes Collaborate on the design, development, maintenance, and delivery of models, metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive business decisions Draft and iterate short- and long-term strategy proposals for the business unit in collaboration with the AVP - Strategy Prepare materials for meetings including agendas, presentation & reports. Take minutes of the meeting, track action items and follow-up Program Management Collaborate with various functional teams for planning and hands-on execution of specific projects. Identify, scope and drive critical projects and initiatives, and drive alignment with cross-functional teams across the organization by developing detailed project plans with activity-based milestones Maintain organizational standards of quality and performance Analyse, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders Required Skills Experience - Between 4 - 6 years of professional experience Education - Engineering /Post graduation Fundamental understanding of renewable energy projects, especially Solar and Wind; versed with key determinants in a new/renewable energy project concept and development Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills for effective analysis and storytelling Confident communicator - conversational and business communication Preferred Skills Preferably in a Strategy/ BD/ Commercial function in an IPP/ RE IPP or in a Research /Consulting role with focus on renewable energy (Solar / Wind ) MBA from a premier B school Understanding of Indias renewable energy regulatory landscape, governing institutions MNRE, SECI, MoP, CERC, CEA, POSOCO etc. and the business landscape,
