- Job Title: Pathology Lab Technician / Clinical AnalystSummary of the Role: As a Pathology Lab Technician at Shiv Pathology Lab, established in 2002, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of diagnostic testing. Success in this position means providing precise test results and exceptional patient counseling, thereby contributing to the overall health and well-being of our community. Your expertise will directly impact our mission of delivering trusted diagnostics through automation and meticulous quality control processes. Responsibilities: Conduct Diagnostic Testing: Perform a variety of clinical tests and analyses on biological samples, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety standards. Automate Testing Processes: Utilize advanced laboratory equipment and software to automate testing, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. Quality Control: Recheck and validate test results to ensure accuracy and reliability before reporting to healthcare providers and patients. Patient Counseling: Provide personalized counseling to patients regarding their test results, helping them understand the implications for their health. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of tests performed, results obtained, and any deviations from standard procedures. Collaboration: Work closely with pathologists, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff to ensure effective communication and resolution of any issues that arise. Continuous Improvement: Participate in research initiatives to enhance laboratory practices and contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts. Qualifications: Education: BMLT (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology) DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology) MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) MD (Doctor of Medicine) Experience: Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting, preferably in pathology or diagnostics. Skills: Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting laboratory equipment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance. Certifications: Relevant certifications in laboratory technology or pathology (e.g., ASCP, CLS) are preferred but not required.,
