Tandoor Chef Job Description Responsibilities: Preparation of Tandoori Items: Prepare a variety of tandoori items such as naan bread, chicken tikka, lamb chops, and other vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes using a tandoor oven. Recipe Adherence: Ensure all tandoori items are prepared according to recipes and company standards. Kitchen Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized tandoor oven area, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations. Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory of tandoori ingredients and supplies. Menu Planning: Assist with menu planning and cost control measures related to tandoori items. Training and Supervision: Train and supervise assistant chefs and kitchen staff in tandoori cooking techniques. Customer Interaction: Maintain a positive and professional relationship with customers, responding to their requests and inquiries related to tandoori items. Testing and Adjusting Recipes: Test new tandoori recipes and make adjustments as needed to ensure consistent quality and taste.
