Maintenance Electrical Engineer @ Oracle

Job Description

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrical Engineer to oversee the electrical systems in our jewelry manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of electrical machinery and systems, implement preventive maintenance strategies, and troubleshoot electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain a high standard of safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: o Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems and machinery. o Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity. 2. System Installation & Upgrades: o Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems and wiring for new and existing machinery. o Coordinate with external vendors for installation and servicing of specialized equipment. 3. Compliance & Safety: o Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations. o Conduct routine safety checks and provide training to staff on electrical safety protocols. 4. Inventory & Documentation: o Maintain an inventory of electrical spares and tools. o Document maintenance schedules, service records, and issue logs. 5. Team Coordination: o Work closely with production, quality control, and operations teams to address technical issues and optimize equipment performance. o Train technicians on machine-specific maintenance procedures. Qualifications and Skills: Educational Qualification: o Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Experience: o 3+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing unit. Experience in the jewelry or precision engineering industry is a plus. Technical Skills: o Strong knowledge of electrical systems and circuits. o Hands-on experience with industrial machinery and automation systems. o Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical manuals.
