Mission/Purpose of the Position
The COMPAREX Support Specialist is a technical remote support role that is responsible for supporting and maintaining key systems and infrastructure for our customer base. The Support Specialist is a highly motivated individual with a strong technical aptitude and Microsoft product knowledge. This individual should have outstanding customer services skills, exceptional communication skills, and enthusiasm to exceed customer expectations. They need to be able to balance priorities, excel at problem solving with complex tasks, and establish effective relationships with customers.
- Very good understanding of SAM concepts & software licensing around vendors like Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Adobe, (will be good to have knowledge on VMware & SAP)
- Good understanding and work exposure on SAM tools like SNOW and or Flexera is a must.
- Should be able to maintain high standards across all the deliverables and have worked on multiple SAM related projects.
- Take complete ownership of the projects and drive them towards completion.
- Work directly with international SAM consultants to provide SAM services to customers across the globe.
- Use SAM tools for data collection, consolidation, reconciliation and other features as required.
- Collect SAM related data e.g. licensing information, installed software, customer contracts with vendors, etc.
- Establish Software Usage Rights & calculate Software Use.
- Excellent comm. Skills.
- Use customers technical information to work out on all installed software products, users and virtual machines etc.
- Create license reconciliations based on information from the customers purchase and installation data.
Education:
UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization, BCA - Computers
PG: Post Graduation Not Required
