Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in developing and implementing interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards and reports. The role requires strong expertise in SQL, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to meet business needs.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Create and manage data models and ensure data accuracy and reliability within Power BI.
- Develop and maintain Power BI DAX calculations to provide advanced analytical insights.
- Integrate data from multiple sources to create a consolidated and streamlined reporting framework.
- Ensure performance optimization of dashboards and reports, enabling fast and efficient data analysis.
- Support troubleshooting and debugging of Power BI reports and data-related issues.
- Provide documentation and training for end-users to promote self-service analytics.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business users, to ensure seamless integration of data and insights.
- 6-8 years of experience in developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI DAX for advanced calculations and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling principles.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to work on large datasets and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Experience with tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or other data integration tools (preferred).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure
- Knowledge of other BI tools like Tableau or QlikView is a plus.
- Certifications in Power BI, SQL, or related technologies.
