The QA engineer will be responsible for the creation of tests to identify issues with software before the product release. Duties include identifying and analyzing any bugs and errors found during the test phase and documenting them for review after. Other tasks include developing and running new tests, reporting on the results, and collaborating with software developers to fix program issues. Detailed responsibilities include ( Manual mandatory + Automation ) preferably from product based company Responsibilities Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client need Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts Design, develop and execute automation scripts using any programming language and tool Analyze automation test result and fix scripts in case of failures. Qualifications B.Tech/ B.S. or M.Tech/ M.S. or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, or related field 3-6 years of experience Mandatory skill sets Proven work experience in software quality assurance Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases Hands-on experience with both Automation and black box testing Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Ranorex, UFT etc. Knowledge of C# or any other programming language Knowledge of SQL and scripting Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process Ability to work well individually or in a group setting, and under pressure and time constraints Experience in using JIRA, TestRail, or any other test management tool Desirable Skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to interact with clients.
