Quality Assurance Test Engineer - Automation @ Oracle

Job Description Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated QA/Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both manual and automation testing of our client applications and backend APIs. This role involves working in a lab environment to ensure the highest quality of our self-ordering solutions. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough manual testing of client applications, including Self-Ordering Kiosks, Mobile Apps, and Kitchen Display Systems. Develop and execute automation scripts for testing backend APIs. Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA. Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans and cases. Perform regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not affect existing functionalities. Analyze test results, identify patterns, and recommend improvements. Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures throughout the software development lifecycle. Participate in team meetings and provide feedback to improve overall processes and product quality. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in software testing, both manual and automated. Strong experience with testing client applications and backend APIs. Proficiency in using JIRA for ticketing and defect tracking. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Preferred Skills Experience in the hospitality industry or with self-ordering solutions. Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks.
