Automation Test Engineer | Chennai | Face-To-Face @ Cognizant

Job Description

Skills Required:

• Good knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
  
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Rest Assured
  
• Experience with UI automation using Selenium
  
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber
  
• Experience with any test automation framework
  
• Basic understanding of CI/CD, preferably with Azure DevOps (optional)
  

Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain automation scripts for API and UI testing
  
• Use tools like Rest Assured, Selenium, and Cucumber
  
• Work with developers to test features and fix bugs early
  
• Help build and improve the automation framework
  
• Optional: Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
