Job Description
- Handling of Compliance for Shapoorji Pallonji & Co Pvt Ltd and its group entities. Includes preparing tax computations, return of income, advance tax working, etc . -
- Preparation of tax return forms and uploading the same on e-filing portal
- Co-ordinating with accounts and tax auditors for timely preparation of tax audit report.
- Preparing replies to tax notices and written submission for assessment, appeals, rectification, stay application, etc.
- Assisting in analysis of complex business transactions from tax perspective.
- Representing before Assessing officer, Commissioner of income-tax (Appeals), etc for different proceedings.
- Keeping track of refunds due, rectifications, sate applications, penalty notices and other pending litigations, etc. and independently following up with authorities for closure.
- Co-ordinating with Accounts and other departments, business divisions for collating various information required during proceedings before the authorities.
- Follow-up for quick disposal of various pending issues before the tax authorities.
- Assisting in preparing and implementing systems & process from tax perspective.
- Assisting in disseminating the relevant knowledge from direct tax perspective within the organization.
- Ensuring appropriate record keeping with the help of other team members.
