Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Strategy & Planning:
o Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with the organization's goals.
o Plan and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
2. Infrastructure Management:
o Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
o Ensure the reliability and security of the network and data systems.
3. Team Leadership & Development:
o Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
o Conduct performance evaluations and provide training opportunities.
4. Project Management:
o Manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
o Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope and requirements.
5. Security & Compliance:
o Implement and monitor IT security protocols to safeguard data and systems.
o Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
6. Support & Troubleshooting:
o Provide technical support to staff and students, resolving IT issues promptly.
o Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures.
7. Vendor Management:
o Collaborate with external vendors to procure IT services and products.
o Evaluate and negotiate contracts to achieve the best value for the organization.
8. Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
o Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
o Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the IT department.
