Job Description

Job Title: Buy-Side Equity Research Analyst Multiple Sectors

Overview: We are looking for a Buy-Side Equity Research Analyst to join our investment team, covering Midcap, Pharma, Banking, IT, Capital Goods, FMCG, Consumer, Auto, Infrastructure, and other key sectors. The role involves conducting in-depth research, financial modeling, and providing actionable investment recommendations to support portfolio management.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct fundamental and financial analysis of companies within assigned sectors.
• Build and maintain financial models, DCF valuations, and other investment frameworks.
• Track industry trends, competitive landscape, and macroeconomic factors affecting investments.
• Provide investment recommendations based on deep-dive research and analysis.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and investment teams to align research with fund strategy.
• Attend company meetings, analyst calls, and industry conferences to gain insights.
• Continuously monitor portfolio holdings and update research as needed.

Requirements:

• Qualification: CA, CFA, MBA, or MMS.
• Experience: 510 years in buy-side or sell-side equity research, covering one or more of the listed sectors.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
• Understanding of portfolio construction and risk management.
• Ability to generate high-conviction investment ideas backed by thorough research.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills to present investment theses.
