Job Title: SAP QE Lead (Manual) Location: Pune or Bengaluru, India Experience: 6-8 Years in Quality Engineering (QE)
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SAP QE Lead (Manual) to manage and execute SAP testing efforts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and seamless system integrations. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in Quality Engineering (QE) with strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO / SCM Modules. Prior experience in test automation using QTP/UFT One and in the retail domain will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement SAP testing strategies including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Lead the manual testing efforts for SAP FICO and SCM modules, ensuring test coverage and accuracy.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to align testing objectives with business needs.
- Identify and document defects, ensuring proper tracking and resolution.
- Collaborate with automation teams to integrate automation into testing strategies where applicable.
- Monitor and track testing progress, providing regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with SAP implementations and upgrades.
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP QE testers, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile and DevOps environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of QE experience, with hands-on expertise in SAP FICO / SCM Modules.
- Strong experience in SAP manual testing, test strategy, execution, and defect management.
- Knowledge of test management tools such as HP ALM, Jira.
- Understanding of SAP integration testing and end-to-end business processes.
- Exposure to test automation using QTP/UFT One is a plus.
- Ability to work in Agile/DevOps environments.
- Prior experience in the retail industry is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work from Pune or Bengaluru location.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications.
- Experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager for test management.
