Job Description
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong background in Node.js, React.js, PostgreSQL, and Express.js. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building scalable web applications, crafting high- quality APIs, and ensuring smooth deployment and maintenance in production environments. You will play a key role in the architecture, development and deployment of our web based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js, React.js, PostgreSQL, and Express.js.
- Build and maintain RESTful APls and ensure optimal performance and responsiveness.
- Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms in Node.js applications.
- Manage source code using Git and participate in code reviews.
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Digital Ocean, or similar.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Document technical solutions, processes, and API specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
Proficient in Node.js, Express.js, React.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong experience in creating and consuming APls (RESTful services).
- Hands-on experience with Git for version control.
- Solid understanding of deploying applications on AWS, Digital Ocean, or other cloud providers.
- Experience with error handling and logging frameworks/tools in Node.js (e.g., Winston, Morgan).
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Docker or containerized deployments.
- Knowledge of Cl/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with modern frontend tools and state management (e.g., Redux).
- Understanding of web security best practices.
