Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our cloud environment, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. The role will focus on firewall implementation, networking, VPN configurations, performance tuning, and log analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Firewall Implementation:
Design, implement, and manage firewall rules and policies to ensure secure access to cloud resources.
- Networking:
Configure and troubleshoot virtual networks, subnets, routing tables, and network security groups in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- IPsec VPN Setup:
Set up and maintain secure IPsec VPN tunnels between on-premise data centers and cloud platforms.
- Performance Tuning:
Monitor and fine-tune system performance and network latency to ensure optimal cloud resource utilization.
- Log Analysis:
Analyze logs from cloud services, applications, and infrastructure to troubleshoot issues and improve system reliability and performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall configurations, and VPN technologies.
- Familiarity with tools for log management and analysis (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Splunk).
- Experience with system performance tuning and resource optimization.
- Solid scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
