We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Software Engineer.
In this role, you will:
- Recent and advanced experience with RPG (ILE/FREE) using Procedures, Service Programs, and Functions
- Hands-on experience of Application Design & Development in BFSI/Banking domain is desirable
- Change management experience and familiarity with a change management tool
- Understanding of DevOps concepts and techniques
- Strong understanding and working experience with CI/CD and available tools i.e. usage of Jenkins, Sonar, RDI
- Working experience in an agile environment
- Ability to quickly acquire new skills and tools
- Ability to resolve critical issues in timely manner
- Be a clear communicator, document your work, share your ideas
- Review and be reviewed by your peers
- Experience releasing to production what you developed and then supporting it
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- 3+ years of experience on iSeries platform (AS400, RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, DB2, SQL)
- Good knowledge Code packaging, Change Planning and Production Release, Subsystems, Backup and Restore process etc
- Good knowledge of MQ, Connect Direct and sFTP interface setup on iSeries
- Test Environment Build, Maintenance, Support and Manage access controls/governance on iSeries platform
- Strong understanding/hands-on of CI/CD pipeline coupled with DevSecOps Methodologies
- Good Knowledge of code promotion to different Test and Live environments via source control tools (RTC-ARCAD)
- Good knowledge on work management, DASD monitoring, allocation, and clean-up
- Working knowledge/Certification of any Cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a must
- Good knowledge of Agile Framework (Scrum Methodologies)
- Good working knowledge of DevSecOps Tools (RTC, ARCAD, Jenkins, Service Now, Ansible, GitHub)
