Job Description
Role Proficiency:
Ensuring adherence to test practices and process to improve test coverage
Outcomes:
- Create Test Estimates and Schedules
- Identify business processes conduct risk analysis and ensure test coverage
- Ensure adherence of processes and standards
- Produce test results defect reports test logs and reports for evidence of testing
- Publish RCA reports and preventive measures
- Report progress of testing
- Contribute for Revenue savings for client by suggesting alternate method

Additional Comments:- Test data within Snowflake tables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency. - Design and execute test cases to validate ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading. - Perform thorough testing of data transformations, data cleansing, and data validation within ETL pipelines. - Validate data load pipelines, including ETL processes, to verify data transformations and loading processes. - Perform data quality checks, including data profiling, data reconciliation, and data integrity testing. - Identify and document data discrepancies, errors, and anomalies. - Execute performance testing on data load processes. - Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications. - Execute test cases, including manual and automated tests, and document test results. - Create and maintain test data for various testing scenarios. - Ensure test coverage for all data load processes and Snowflake table validations. - Strong SQL skills for data querying and validation. - Advanced SQL skills for data querying and validation, particularly in the context of ETL testing - Understanding of data warehousing concepts, including data modeling and ETL processes. - Experience with test case management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail). - Familiarity with data quality tools and techniques. - Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for test automation is a plus. - Familiarity with Snowflake specific functions.
