Data Entry Operator @ SD Industries

Job Description

1. Data Entry & Record Maintenance

• Enter daily production reports, job cards, and machine utilization data into ERP or spreadsheet systems.

• Maintain logs of machine hours, cycle times, tool changes, and downtime events.

• Update inventory records for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods.

2. Job Tracking & Work Order Management

• Log and track work orders or job numbers as per production schedules.

• Record operator assignments and shift handovers.

• Document completion times and production quantities from CNC/VMC/HMC machines.

3. Quality & Inspection Data Recording

• Input results from in-process and final quality checks (e.g., dimensions, tolerances).

• Maintain calibration and inspection record data for tools and gauges.

• Support traceability by linking inspection data with corresponding job numbers or batch codes.

4. Machine & Maintenance Logs

• Enter preventive maintenance data and breakdown reports.

• Record usage and life of cutting tools and fixtures.

• Log coolant/oil level checks and related maintenance actions.

5. Support for Production Planning & Control (PPC)

• Assist PPC team with timely data entry on job status, lead times, and material availability.

• Help in generating daily/weekly production performance reports.
