Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities: Design and Strategy: Architect scalable, reusable, and efficient document automation solutions using HotDocs Author and Component Studio, aligned with business and technical requirements. Define the overall structure and governance for document automation initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards. Solution Development: Lead the design of advanced interviews, complex text flows, reusable libraries, and dynamic templates, ensuring optimal performance and maintainability. Develop and oversee strategies for structuring HotDocs Workspaces across development, testing, and production phases. Collaboration and Leadership: Engage with business leaders, stakeholders, and domain/system SMEs to gather requirements, define roadmaps, and set priorities for document automation projects. Act as a mentor to development teams, providing architectural guidance and ensuring adherence to best practices. Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams, including QA, UA, and offshore resources, in a global delivery environment. Process Improvement: Establish and enforce development standards, processes, and methodologies for document automation, leveraging Agile/Kanban frameworks and tools like JIRA and Confluence. Drive continuous improvement in quality assurance by designing robust testing strategies and automating test workflows. Stakeholder Management: Translate complex business specifications into comprehensive automation strategies and ensure seamless integration with broader enterprise systems. Provide high-level solution estimates and recommendations for leveraging HotDocs features in innovative ways. Support and Innovation: Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of existing templates and document automation systems to ensure long-term reliability and scalability. Identify and explore emerging trends in document automation technologies to enhance capabilities and drive innovation. Requirements Requirements: Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in document generation automation, with a strong focus on architecting solutions. Extensive experience with HotDocs Author, Component Studio, and associated scripting languages. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in advanced template development, dynamic data components, reusable libraries, and HotDocs-specific scripting. Strong command of Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, Visio) and familiarity with workflow tools like JIRA and Confluence. Analytical and Leadership Skills: Expertise in Requirements/Change Management, Impact Analysis, and Gap Analysis. Proven ability to manage onshore/offshore teams and navigate complex delivery environments. Industry Knowledge: Preferred experience in Accident & Health or Property & Casualty Insurance sectors. A deep understanding of compliance, regulatory frameworks, and industry-specific document management needs.
