As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking, Global Banking Platform team, you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firms state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As an emerging member of a software engineering team, you execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role. Job responsibilities Develop and maintain applications using Java Work with different aspects of domain level architecture with experience in API and performance scalability Work with business analysts and lead engineers to understand requirements and designs for implementing software solutions Design and Develop applications in AWS using Kubernetes, Kafka and microservices architecture Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience Work experience on architecting and design solutions Hands-on practical experience in system design , application development, testing, and operational stability Proficient in coding in one or more languages including Java Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a corporate environment with Java, spring boot and other software languages Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle Experience working in an Agile Software Development Environment Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes and Kafka,
