Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to drive the implementation of cloud-based solutions in Microsoft Azure. This role requires deep expertise in cloud technologies, with a focus on Azure, to help shape the strategic direction of our cloud infrastructure and contribute to the successful execution of cloud transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Security:
Ensure the implementation of security best practices across all cloud-based architectures. Define policies, procedures, and practices for managing secure cloud environments in compliance with industry standards (eg, HIPAA, GDPR). - Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices related to Azure and cloud computing. Share knowledge across teams to improve overall cloud competency.
Key Requirements:
- Education Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions.
- At least 3 years of experience specifically with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Azure services (eg, Azure Compute, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Security).
- Knowledge of automation and scripting with Python.
- Experience with cloud migration strategies, hybrid cloud environments, and multi-cloud setups.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM Templates, or Azure Resource Manager.
- Expertise in cloud security best practices, identity management (Azure AD), and security compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, load balancing, and distributed systems in the cloud.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on high-quality deliverables.
