Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Middleware Upgrades & Migrations Lead on-premises middleware upgrades, patching, and migrations with minimal downtime, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Middleware Administration & Support Manage and maintain IBM MQ, WebLogic, and Java-based middleware environments critical to financial applications.
- Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting Identify and resolve bottlenecks at the middleware, OS, and application layers, ensuring optimal performance for high-volume financial transactions.
- Security & Compliance Ensure middleware platforms comply with financial regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, PCI-DSS) and internal security policies.
- Incident, Change, and Problem Management Follow ITSM best practices to manage and resolve middleware-related incidents, service requests, and problems efficiently.
- Monitoring & Automation Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and automation solutions for middleware components to enhance reliability and operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of HTTP/S, TCP, DNS, web application load balancing.
- Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with application, database, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure smooth upgrades and integrations.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing Maintain detailed technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices for middleware management.
- Availability for Critical Deliverables Be flexible and available to work late or during weekends to support critical production changes and major upgrade projects.
