Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Power BI Developer Intern to join our remote analytics team. This is a great opportunity for individuals passionate about data visualization and business intelligence to work on live projects in a real-world IT environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and developing interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Connect to various data sources, clean and transform data using Power Query and DAX.
- Collaborate with team members remotely to understand business requirements and translate them into visual insights.
- Optimize dashboards for performance and usability.
- Document data models, reports, and dashboard structures.
- Stay current with Power BI updates and best practices in data visualization.Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Understanding of data modeling, relationships, and DAX functions.
- Familiarity with SQL or other query languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment.
- Enthusiasm for learning and working with business intelligence tools.Nice to Have:
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, especially PivotTables and Power Query.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or database systems like SQL Server.
- Understanding of KPIs, metrics, and business reporting.
- Portfolio of sample dashboards or personal BI projects.What We Offer:
