Job Title: Tandoori Commis 1 Chef Location: Hyd Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Kitchen Indian Cuisine (Tandoor Section) Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Commis 1 Chef with expertise in Tandoori cooking to join our Indian kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with a tandoor oven and be passionate about authentic Indian cuisine. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of Tandoori dishes including kebabs, breads (naan, roti), and grilled items. Assist in the daily food preparation and ensure consistency in quality and presentation. Follow recipes and presentation standards as guided by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and workstations. Ensure the tandoor oven is handled properly and maintained safely. Adhere to food safety and HACCP standards at all times. Requirements: 5 years of experience working with tandoor ovens in a professional kitchen. Familiarity with traditional Indian spices and marination techniques. Culinary diploma or formal training in Indian cuisine is a plus. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
