Cnc Lathe Operator @ SD Industries

Job Description

1. Machine Setup and Operation

   • Set up CNC machines (lathe) according to job specifications, ensuring the correct tools, fixtures, and materials are used.
   • Program and operate CNC machines to produce parts from detailed engineering drawings and blueprints.
   • Monitor machine operations during production runs to ensure quality and efficiency.

2. Quality Control

   • Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
   • Ensure that all parts meet the required specifications and tolerances.
   • Make necessary adjustments to machine settings or tooling to maintain part quality throughout the production run.
   • Perform routine checks and maintain detailed production logs, documenting any deviations or issues.
