Overview: retailcloud is seeking a seasoned Java Technical Architect to lead the design and development of our large-scale backend systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll drive architectural innovation, mentor developers, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our platform. Learn more about us at https://retailcloud.com Location : Kozhikode / Calicut , Kerala JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Backend Development & Learning: Assist in developing and maintaining backend services using Java & Spring Boot. Design and build RESTful APIs and integrate them with databases. Work on minor bug fixes, enhancements, and small feature implementations. AI & Productivity Enhancement: Explore and use AI-driven coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve efficiency. Be open to experimenting with AI-powered automation in development workflows. Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with senior engineers for guidance and mentorship. Understand business and technical requirements by collaborating with cross-functional teams. Willingness to help the team in any challenges and contribute to team success. Requirements Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Strong foundational knowledge in Java, OOP, Data Structures & Algorithms Basic understanding of Spring Boot & REST APIs (academic or project experience preferred). Exposure to SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and good communication.
