Key Responsibilities: Database Design & Development: Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases that support business operations and ensure high availability and scalability. SQL Query Writing: Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views to support data extraction, reporting, and integration needs. Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize SQL queries and database structures to improve performance and reduce response times. Database Administration: Perform routine database administration tasks such as backups, restores, indexing, and monitoring to ensure data integrity and availability. Data Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, data analysts, and IT teams to understand database requirements and provide solutions. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, query errors, and connectivity problems. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database schemas, queries, and administrative procedures. RequirementsRequirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience working with SQL databases, including design, development, and administration. Proficiency in SQL Server is required. Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relevant database management systems is a plus. Strong understanding of database normalization, indexing, and query optimization techniques. Experience with ETL(Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools is a plus. Familiarity with cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS) is an advantage. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Skills: Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus. Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is an advantage. Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools related to database management.,
