Job Description

Position: Program Lead - Lodha Community Development Initiatives

Lodha Foundation offers an exciting platform to elevate community development with womens empowerment initiatives being the main anchor of community development efforts. In this role, you will work to lead, implement, monitor and evaluate, and coordinate long-term partnerships with leading organizations in the social impact and private sectors. With your sound expertise and network you will provide leadership and direction to the community development portfolio, with a focus on womens economic empowerment (WEE). Within the organization, you'll play the role of an entrepreneur and spearhead the Lodha Community Development Initiatives (LCDI) practice area as a senior level social impact leader whose main responsibility is to enable a substantial increase in per capita income of our beneficiaries and help inculcate values that encourage our beneficiaries to also give back to other women, families and society. You'll be building and leading a dynamic, multi-city team which will be responsible for integrating insights from internal and external specialists for implementing the various components of the LCDI programme.

Role Summary:

The role will be based in Mumbai with travel across program sites including Dombivli, Mandwa, and Bangalore. You will lead the implementation, monitoring, and scaling of the Lodha Community Development Initiative (LCDI), driving strategy execution and program quality across key areas such as education and womens economic empowerment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive execution and continuous refinement of LCDIs 3-year strategy.
  • Lead program design, implementation, and quality assurance across education and WEE initiatives.
  • Manage and support a field team of 10+ members for real-time tracking, alignment, and adaptive execution.
  • Own MEL (monitoring, evaluation and learning) processestrack and report impact data internally and externally.
  • Cultivate partnerships across private, civil society, academic, and advocacy sectors.
  • Build internal capacity for program scale and innovation, including pilot testing new initiatives.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, MoUs, procurement, and legal compliance.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, communications strategy, and advocacy agenda.
  • Report progress to senior leadership, including the Foundation Board.
  • Coordinate with other stakeholders on cross-functional social impact strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Masters in Development, Social Work, Business, Public Policy, or related field.
  • 710 years of senior-level experience in CSR, social impact, or foundations.
  • Proven success in program design, field implementation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic leadership.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and team management skills.
  • Cultural and political awareness of the Indian context; community engagement experience preferred.
