Job Description
Your main tasks.
- Testing and test coordination of all aspects of the product/system like function/component, system, regression and service.
- Work with development team to identify and capture test cases, ensure version management.
- Setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing/coordinating these cases.
- Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned people.
- Record and analyze actions and results, and maintain a defect's register;
What skills do we expect from you?
- Knowledge and experience with project and software management lifecycles and deliverables and in change management processes;
- Ability to understand the business scope of the project, related legislation, business process descriptions, functional architecture and capacity to follow discussion with business stakeholders and understand their impact on the project scope, definition and defined timelines;
- Previous experience as a senior Test Engineer
- Knowledge of various testing techniques
- Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Knowledge and experience of quality standards and regulations
- Great troubleshooting skills
- Analytical mindset
- Knowledge and experience of Middleware testing (MuleSoft, API, ESB)
- Additional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus
- CI/CD integration experience (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
What are great skills to have?
- Knowledge/certified ISTQB/Tmap Test Engineer
- Testing methodologies e.g. Agile and Waterfall
- Tosca Tricentis test automation engineer experience and / or knowledge
- Jmeter performance test engineer experience and / or knowledge
- Experience with Atlassian Tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo)
- Knowledge/experience of API management protocols and data formats
- Knowledge/experience of integration platforms IBMMQ and / or MuleSoft and / or Apache Kafka and / or Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
- Good level in SQL/database
- Creating master test plan and test reports
- An understanding of the software development life cycle as well as the business approach for the product
- Analytical skills
- Decision making ability
- Attention to details
- Ability to work in a multicultural team as well as an individual
- Ability to coordinate testing within a team
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Business knowledge of airline regulation, customs processes/procedures and/or international goods supply chain logistics, or postal sector is considered as an asset
