The Stress engineer evaluates areas of non-conformance regarding defects arising during the manufacturing and Assembly process and as compared to the product definition requirements.

Experienced Stress Analysis Engineer - ANSYS APDL for Bangalore Location

Position: Stress Engineer - ANSYS APDL Workbench

Location: Bangalore

Exp: 2-7 Years

Responsibilities:

1. Delivery Excellence by Effectively working with Customers & Internal team to drive the projects by managing the requirements and ensuring timely deliverables.
Responsible & accountable for executing medium to high complex sub-system related projects with complete ownership.
2. Initiate and validate detailed analysis reports including structural analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), thermal analysis, heat transfer, stress, vibrations, fluid and gas flow dynamics, and manufacturability to properly verify new and existing designs.
3. Do hand calculations leveraging a strong foundation in engineering fundamentals
Performing low cycle fatigue, high cycle fatigue and detailed fracture mechanics assessments of Aero engine static & rotating components.
4. Ability to interpret and validate the results and provide technical solutions.
5. Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to clearly communicate design intent, analysis, and validation to a diverse audience in design reviews.
6. Ensuring timely and high-quality deliveries for all projects.
7. Take care of Day to Day Delivery

Work Experience:

Minimum of 2-5 years of related experience with a Bachelors/ Masters degree in Mechanical/ Industrial/ Mechatronics Engineering/Aerospace engineering
Convergence Trouble shooting Expertise in FEA tools like Ansys and Hypermesh
In-depth knowledge in structural analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), thermal analysis, heat transfer, stress, vibrations, fluid and gas flow dynamics, and manufacturability to properly verify new and existing designs.
Problem Identification and troubleshooting of medium-high complex engineering challenges.
Expertise in any 3D modeling tool (NX/Solid works/CREO etc.), drafting standards, GD&T, Tolerance Stack-up, their use & interpretation on the drawings.
Demonstrated ability to deliver design reviews, understanding of various stages of product development processes and ability to work in collaboration with stakeholders.
Must have experience of managing customer engagements independently.
