Job Description
Minimum ~12 years of total experience in Aluminium Smelter.
- Minimum ~ 5 years experience in Aluminium Cast House green field project from concept to commissioning including Melting Furnace, Ingot Casting Machine, billet casting, slab casting, dross processing plant and their axillaries.
- Minimum ~ 3 Year experience in Aluminium Cast House brown field project from concept to commissioning.
- Oversee all phases of project including Basic Engineering, detail engineering, procurement, erection, commissioning and project closures.
- Manage the complete Project lifecycle: Initiation, Plan, execution, monitoring and control and closure to achieve the project objectives.
- Ensure that projects are completed within the determined time frame and budget.
- Evaluate and assess vendor and service contractor proposals.
- Prepare project status reports for review by stakeholders.
- Preparing Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Weekly Progress Reports (WPR), and monthly updates to management.
- Collaborate with international vendors and service providers to meet project objectives
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory and legal requirements at all project stages.
- Plan and manage resources for the Aluminium Cast House project to ensure completion within the determine timeline and budget.
- Take initiative for innovation and cost optimization in project activity.
- Preparing of Technical Contracts with Scope detailing & Performance Guarantees need.
- Conduct project risk assessments and proactively implement mitigation plans.
- Monitor and control for effective, safe and organize site execution.
- Monitor schedule with focus on budget and risk of the project.
- Oversee equipment procurement, erection, and commissioning to be meet production, cost, and quality targets.
- Maintain project schedules and keep resources on track.
- Attend periodic project review meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the project engineering team during the LSTK / EPC stages.
- Assisting project team members with adequate resources to complete their tasks.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors for all aspects of the project, including manufacturing, delivery, storage, site mobilization, erection, commissioning, performance testing, and closure.
- Scheduling stakeholder meetings and facilitating communication between Project Manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
- Managing project management documentation including the project plan, approvals, budget, Gantt chart, offers, final order, bills and closure.
