Python Software Developer @ Trigent software

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Python Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts and tools to streamline our build systems using Artifactory and GitLab, as well as automating the generation of release notes. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and reliable CI/CD processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts for build systems.
Integrate and manage Artifactory and GitLab within the CI/CD pipeline.
Automate the generation and distribution of release notes.
Document automation processes and provide training for team members.
Experience with Docker and containerization.
Experience with automating release notes.
Familiarity with other automation tools and frameworks.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Load balancing the pipelines for faster builds completion.
Proven experience in developing automation scripts using Python.
Strong knowledge of Artifactory and GitLab.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
