Job Description
We are seeking a UX/UI Designer with a strong focus on collaboration and technical expertise to join our design teamThe ideal candidate should have a balanced skill set in UX and UI design, and prototyping capabilities
They should thrive in a team-oriented environment, communicate effectively, and bring a positive influence to the overall design culture
Your tasks
Collaborating effectively with team members to ensure open communication, constructive feedback, and shared ownership of work
Working on building Arabic versions of website components and designing Arabic pages
Building and maintaining design systems, including tokens, components, and overall upkeep, while embedding design systems into development workflows
Prototyping intuitive and interactive solutions using tools like Figma, showcasing strong technical and design expertise
Incorporating accessibility (a11y) principles into designs and collaborating with experts to align with core standards
Presenting work through a strong portfolio that highlights visual aesthetics, design skills, and impactful project outcomes
Balancing development and design considerations by leveraging basic coding knowledge and collaborating with engineers
Requirements
Proficiency in design tools like Figma for prototyping and creating design systems
Experience in building, maintaining, and embedding design systems into workflows (token management is a bonus)
Fluency in Arabic language
Knowledge of web application design and UI specifications, with a focus on developer-ready outputs
Understanding and application of accessibility (a11y) principles, with a willingness to learn from experts
Ability to work collaboratively, sharing work transparently and engaging with team feedback
Candidates must submit a portfolio link showcasing their design work, with a focus on aesthetics and practical outcomes
Nice to have
Prior experience in creating or maintaining design systems is highly desirable
Web application design experience is a significant advantage
