Int./Sr. Blockchain Software Engineer @ Digyug HR

Job Description

This is a remote position. We are seeking a In t./Sr. Blockchain Software Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities: Design and build scalable, high-performance decentralized exchange systems. Integrate DeFi protocols, bridges, and liquidity sources across multiple blockchains into our system. Build and maintain APIs, internal tools, and services that support our front-end, partners, and ops teams. Optimize performance, reliability, and uptime of our core trading infrastructure. Identify and resolve scaling bottlenecks across infrastructure, data ingestion, and execution logic. Collaborate closely with founders and engineers on product direction, architecture, and roadmap. Requirements 3+ years of professional back-end engineering experience (were hiring at multiple seniority levels). Strong proficiency with Python and modern back-end systems design. Deep understanding of API design, databases, and distributed systems. Familiarity with DeFi protocols and crypto infrastructureor a proven ability to ramp up quickly. Experience transitioning from a single monolith to a scalable multi-service infrastructure, ideally in GCP. Self-direction, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and eager to take ownership. Nice To Haves: Experience with DEXs, bridges, RPC infrastructure, and on-chain transaction building. Experience working with blockchain data (e.g., The Graph, subgraphs, custom ETLs). Knowledge of CeFi APIs and data ingestion patterns. Experience deploying to and managing global cloud infrastructure across multiple regions (e.g., GCP, Kubernetes, Docker).
