Job Description:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex Power BI solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Oversee and mentor a team of Power BI developers, providing guidance, code reviews, and best practices.
• Drive the strategic roadmap for BI and reporting, aligning with organizational goals.
• Lead at least one end-to-end Cognos to Power BI migration project.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and effective Power BI solutions.
• Architect and maintain semantic models and reusable datasets.
• Optimize dashboards, reports, and data models for performance and scalability.
• Establish and enforce governance, documentation, and version control standards for Power BI assets.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions across teams.
• 810+ years of experience in Business Intelligence with at least 5+ years in Power BI development.
• Expert in DAX, Power Query (M language), data transformations, and report-level calculations.
• In-depth understanding of IBM Cognos reporting structures and BI concepts.
• Proven track record of successfully executing Cognos to Power BI migration projects.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing principles, dimensional modelling, and data architecture.
• Experience in team leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
