Job Description
Your Responsibilities
- Holistic and independent assumption of technical responsibility for several complex functions of an axle drive system from the acquisition phase to the handover to series production
- Coordination of the requirements to be implemented for the responsible functions with the client
- Ensuring the correct implementation of the requirements for the responsible function(s) in cooperation with the disciplines involved (e.g. EE, ME, SW, ...) and components (e.g. electric motor, power electronics, reduction gears, software) and involving all relevant departments (e.g. simulation, basic development, testing)
- Technical contact person for the responsible functions in the project.
Your Qualification
- Degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, control engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering
- 8-10 years of professional experience in at least one of the relevant sub-areas: electric motor, power electronics, reduction gears or embedded software
- Professional management experience, e.g. as a technical project manager is an added advantage
- Very good system understanding of power electronics in combination with electrical and mechanical machine design or gearbox design
- Practical experience in the development of automotive systems according to V-model or agile methods, ideally taking into account ASPICE and ISO26262
- Sound knowledge in the areas of requirements engineering, system architecture and system integration
- Independent and goal-oriented way of working with the ability to structure and prioritize
- Knowledge of function development and control of electrical machines is an advantage
- Confident appearance in conflict situations and strong communication skills
- Analytical thinking and goal-oriented way of working
- Good knowledge of presentation techniques
- Fluent in English. German Language is an added advantage
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work in multidisciplinary teams
- High quality orientation
