The Opportunity | Senior Director of Sales (Digital, Events & Promotions) A Senior Director of Sales leads sales strategies, manage key client relationships, and oversees the sales team's performance. This position demands strategic thinking, a deep understanding of market trends, and the ability to develop and implement effective sales plans to achieve company objectives. The Senior Director of Sales is responsible for setting sales targets, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring the team meets its goals. The Opportunities Conduct market research to find potential business opportunities and develop strategies to approach potential clients and convert them into customers. Collaborate with servicing teams to prepare engaging and informative presentations. and present company offerings to potential clients, highlighting key benefits and solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new clients. Set individual and team objectives aligned with company sales targets, monitor progress and implement action plans to achieve or exceed these goals. Take ownership of the entire sales process from initial engagement through to sales pitch, formal bidding stage, commercial approval, contract negotiation, and signing a contract. Oversee the entire sales process for new clients, from identifying opportunities and qualifying leads to finalizing sales and contracts and supporting implementation and execution. Using historical data to identify previous contacts that may have renewed interest, network and establish connections to create new leads within the industry. Engage with potential clients, thoroughly understand their requirements, and tailor proposals accordingly. Manage bid teams from strategy to contract awards and Lead bid teams in developing cohesive and competitive strategies. Oversee the preparation of bid documents and presentations, ensuring timely submission and winning outcomes. The Qualifications Graduate/Postgraduate from a recognized university Minimum 12 years of experience in sales, business development and client management, preferably from agency or hospitality industries Experience preferred in events & promotions and digital marketing Strong networking, communication, and presentation skills. Organizational and project management skills.
