Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Define test plan and test cases based on product and technical requirements.
Must have a passion for quality and a bias towards speed.
Must be able to learn new technical areas quickly.
Ability to communicate effectively Verbal & Written strong.
Should work on Back-end, Regression, Sanity, System Integration, Functional and Load Testing on Server/Client based systems
Working closely with the internal and external design/test teams in identifying problems
Document identified problems with enough detail and in a manner, that supports resolution
Produce periodic status and operational reports
Testing in different environments including web and mobile.
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
Help troubleshoot issues, Problem Solving, providing objective feedback to software development project teams
Make independent technical contributions in-support of program objectives, Work with cross functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Technical Skills:
Should be having strong knowledge on Testing concepts and processes.
Should have relevant testing experience in the areas like - Test plan, test case design, test data preparation, test execution, test report preparation and defect tracking.
Should have experience in Testing in different environments including mobile and web.
Should have basic knowledge on Java concepts along with Selenium web driver test script preparation Hands on experience required.
Knowledge of tools like JIRA, Browser developer tools etc
Experience in analysing system requirements in a test environment.
Experience preparing Test design documents, Test plans, Test procedures, etc.
Basic SQL Knowledge and DSL Query Knowledge is MUST Familiarity with Windows and Linux
Well versed with testing concepts like SDLC, STLC and Agile Process
Experience with application lifecycle management tools and software change management, requirements management and traceability, test case development and workflow management
Experience in any defect tracking tool
Test automation design & development at all levels from unit to end to end system testing
