Job Description
Position Names: Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer Azure/AWS

Role & responsibilities:
1. **Cloud Infrastructure Management**
- Architect, build, and maintain robust cloud solutions on **Microsoft Azure**.
- Develop reusable infrastructure code using tools like **Terraform** and **CloudFormation**.
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and security in all cloud deployments.
2. **Automation & DevOps Practices**
- Develop CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and integrations.
- Optimize build, test, and deployment processes to improve system performance and delivery timelines.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to enhance scalability and repeatability.
3. **Version Control & Collaboration**
- Manage source control processes and workflows using **GIT** and related tools.
- Provide versioning strategies and enforce best practices in branch management and code review.
4. **Monitoring & Incident Management**
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and availability, proactively addressing issues to minimize downtime.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve cloud-related incidents, ensuring root cause analysis and preventive measures.
5. **Collaboration & Team Leadership**
- Work closely with software developers, architects, and stakeholders to align cloud strategies with business objectives.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.
Preferred candidate profile:
- **8 to 10 years of hands-on experience** in Cloud and DevOps engineering.
- Proficiency in **Azure Cloud Services**, including Virtual Machines, App Services, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Expertise in **Terraform** and **CloudFormation** for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong knowledge of **GIT** for version control and repository management.
- Experience in creating, managing, and troubleshooting **CI/CD pipelines** using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like **Azure Monitor**, **Datadog**, or **Prometheus**.
- Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as **Docker** and **Kubernetes**.
- Strong scripting skills in **Python**, **PowerShell**, or **Bash**.
**Preferred Skills**
- Certification in Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Familiarity with multi-cloud environments and tools like AWS and Google Cloud.
- Hands-on experience in managing hybrid cloud deployments.
