Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Test Automation Engineer with 23 years of experience in designing, developing, and executing automated tests. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Ranorex and a solid understanding of automation frameworks and QA methodologies. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality releases of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Ranorex and/or other automation tools.
- Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify issues.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand product requirements and design effective test plans.
- Participate in test planning, test case design, and test case execution for functional, regression, and system testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Generate test reports and provide timely feedback on quality issues.
- Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into build processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 23 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
- Strong experience in Ranorex (recording, scripting, and data-driven testing).
- Proficiency in C# or VB.NET (used with Ranorex).
- Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and team collaboration ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other automation tools like Selenium, Postman (API testing), or TestComplete.
- Experience working with databases and writing basic SQL queries.
- Exposure to performance or load testing tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of CI tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines, etc.
