Data Quality Monitoring Lead
Contract to Hire ( 6 Months Contract to Permanent)
Location: Hyderabad, WFO.
Work Hours: 24/5 coverage (Monday to Friday), will be working in shifts.
Job Summary:
The Data Quality Monitoring Lead will be responsible for overseeing the offshore Data Quality Monitoring team, ensuring effective incident response, triaging, root cause analysis, and resolution of data quality issues. This role requires a senior-level professional with strong leadership, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills to define and implement data quality monitoring policies, procedures, and tools in collaboration with the Lockton Data Quality Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor dashboards, logs (Log Analytics, KQL queries, Azure monitoring), and alerts to identify data quality issues.
Coordinate with support teams to ensure system-related issues are resolved and track data-related incidents.
Ensure proper documentation, escalation, and resolution of data issues, including data corrections where needed.
Lead the team in analyzing and triaging Data Quality (DQ) errors from system integrations (Salesforce, Nexsure, Mulesoft).
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and collaborate with system support teams and business users to resolve issues.
Take corrective actions or implement workarounds where feasible. Escalate complex issues as needed.
Analyze data across systems (Salesforce, Nexsure) to identify sync and quality issues.
Develop and improve monitoring tools, scripts (Python, SQL), and dashboards (Power BI) for proactive issue detection.
Identify gaps in existing monitoring processes and recommend enhancements.
Work with the broader Data Quality team to refine tools, dashboards, and SOPs.
Manage and mentor offshore DataOps team members, ensuring proper handoffs and shift coverage.
Act as the primary offshore liaison for the Lockton DQ Lead, providing updates and escalations.
Develop and maintain a knowledge base (SOPs, troubleshooting guides, best practices).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
Data Monitoring & Analytics: Log Analytics, KQL, Azure Monitoring, Power BI.
Database & Querying: Strong SQL skills (Azure SQL, Synapse).
Automation & Scripting: Python (for data validation, monitoring scripts).
Azure Suite: Logic Apps, ADLS, ADF, Synapse (user-level proficiency required, engineering-level preferred).
Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with Mulesoft & Salesforce data flows.
DevOps Tools: Azure DevOps (ADO) for issue tracking.
Soft Skills
Problem-Solving & RCA: Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
Leadership: Experience managing offshore teams and collaborating with global stakeholders.
Communication: Strong verbal/written skills to interact with technical teams, business users, and leadership.
Process-Oriented: Detail-driven with a focus on documentation and SOP creation.
Preferred Experience
8+ years in data quality, data operations, or monitoring roles.
Prior experience in defining DQ policies, monitoring frameworks, and tooling.
Exposure to insurance domain is a plus.
