Job Description
- Oversee daily operations including production, supply chain, quality control, and ensure compliance with standards and MSME guidelines.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with the CEO on strategic goals and identify growth opportunities, including new markets and innovations.
- Drive product and manufacturing innovation to support business objectives.
- Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and work with finance for MSME funding or grants.
- Analyze financial data to support informed resource allocation decisions.
- Build and lead teams while promoting collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Mentor and train employees to boost productivity and morale.
- Ensure smooth interdepartmental communication and coordination.
- Understand customer needs and ensure high-quality product delivery and satisfaction.
- Develop strategies to retain customers and monitor competitor and market trends.
- Ensure all regulatory and legal compliance specific to airgun manufacturing.
- Stay updated on MSME policies and liaise with relevant authorities and industry bodies.
- Proven operational management experience, ideally with a turnaround success in light engineering manufacturing (mechanical production).
- Experience managing early-stage startups and understanding their unique challenges.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of airgun manufacturing processes is an added advantage.
- Graduate with additional management qualifications preferred.
- Operational leadership to align day-to-day business with strategic objectives.
- Strategic planning skills to ensure sustainable business growth.
- Ability to monitor performance and encourage continuous improvement.
- Build and manage high-performing teams.
- Strong control over budgeting and financial planning for operational efficiency.
