Following a 6 month performance review, and based on the successful achievement of agreed upon key performance indicators and overall performance, there will be an opportunity for a salary increase upto 50000/-. The specific amount or percentage of the increase will be determined based on the performance evaluation. Comprehensive Job Description Job Summary: The State Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all sales activities within the assigned state. This role involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies, building and managing a high-performing sales team, cultivating strong customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets and business growth objectives within the state. The State Manager will also analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and collaborate with other departments to drive overall business success. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the assigned state, aligned with overall company sales goals and objectives. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the state to identify opportunities for growth. Set realistic and achievable sales targets for the state and individual sales team members. Sales Team Management and Leadership: Recruit, train, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team within the state. Set clear performance expectations, monitor individual and team performance, and provide regular feedback. Conduct performance reviews and implement performance improvement plans as needed. Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented sales culture within the team. Organize and lead regular sales meetings and training sessions. Sales Execution and Achievement: Drive sales activities to achieve and exceed established sales targets and revenue goals for the state. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and strategic accounts within the state. Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions. Address and resolve customer issues and escalations effectively. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Business Development and Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients within the state. Explore and develop new market segments and channels. Network with industry professionals and participate in relevant events. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to senior management. Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies and tactics. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and achieve overall business objectives. Maintain clear and consistent communication with the sales team and senior management. Compliance and Administration: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Manage administrative tasks related to the sales team and state operations. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred). Proven track record of successful sales management experience, preferably within the specified industry and state. Strong understanding of sales principles, practices, and techniques. Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Ability to analyze sales data and generate actionable insights. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in CRM software and other sales-related tools. In-depth knowledge of the local market and competitive landscape within the assigned state. Willingness to travel within the state as required.
