Software Tester/Automation Tester with Cypress @ Digyug HR

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Tester specializing in automation testing with Cypress, having a minimum of 5 years of IT experience and at least 3 years of expertise in the mandatory skills. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of web-based and mobile application testing, along with a comprehensive knowledge of software QA methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Automated Testing: Perform automated testing using Cypress, ensuring thorough test coverage of web and mobile applications. Test Case Development: Design, develop, and maintain functional test cases, test data, and other artifacts, derived from business requirements and user scenarios. Integration: Integrate test scripts with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins to enhance the testing process. Test Execution: Execute test plans, conduct manual functional and exploratory testing, and support frameworks for test infrastructure. Collaboration: Collaborate with developers and product owners to review test plans and cases, and contribute to the predictable delivery of quality releases. Performance Testing: Write requirements and create scenarios for performance and load testing, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage. Must-Have Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience using Cypress for automation testing on web-based and mobile applications. Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and the ability to derive test scenarios from business requirements. Proficiency in various testing types including Functional, Regression, Retesting, UI, Usability, and Cross-Browser testing. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, along with familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps or Jira. Good-to-Have Qualifications: Strong reporting and documentation skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate testing outcomes effectively.,
