Job Description

Role & responsibilities

- Ensuring high performance, seamless integration, and secure management of data systems, contributing to data-driven operational excellence.
- Evaluate and optimize the architecture of existing digital data systems to enhance scalability and efficiency.
- Design and implement robust solutions for data integration, storage, and accessibility.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align digital systems with core business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices for data governance.
- Address system performance issues and implement effective troubleshooting strategies.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with significant exposure to the Oil & Gas sector.
- Expertise in database systems, cloud technologies, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Strong understanding of industry-specific digital tools and software.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with big data platforms and predictive analytics.
- Familiarity with Oil & Gas-specific workflows, such as drilling, exploration, and production data management.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity protocols and risk mitigation strategies for digital systems.
