What you will do:
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to drive partner engagement and ecosystem management across the APJ region. This role requires a seasoned professional with experience in stakeholder collaboration, partner strategy, and ecosystem growth, particularly within the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strengthening relationships with internal and external partners, driving joint initiatives, and enhancing market reach through strategic programs and events.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner & Ecosystem Management:
- Develop and execute an APJ-wide partner strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Engage with global strategic partners , key partners, and internal partner management teams to drive alignment and collaboration.
- Foster relationships with market unit stakeholders , ensuring seamless execution of joint go-to-market initiatives.
- Establish strong connects within L1 area and internal department stakeholders for cohesive partner engagement.
India Market Unit Stakeholder & Customer Engagement:
- Drive customer interactions and executive stakeholder engagement to position ALM solutions effectively within the Indian sub-continent.
- Act as a bridge between organizational stakeholders , ensuring alignment between customer strategies and business priorities.
- Lead internal and external communication to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
- Increase adoption and successful usage leading to satisfied customers in the Indian sub-continent
ALM Strategic Events & Initiatives:
- Lead ALM-focused partner events such as the ALM Summit (Partner Focus and sponsorship), ALMathon (hackathon for ALM areas), ALM Awards (User Group and Partners), and India Roadshows to drive customer and ecosystem engagement.
- Plan and execute regional roadshows and partner enablement programs to strengthen the ALM community.
- Represent the organization at key industry events and partner forums to showcase thought leadership.
What you bring:
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in partner management, alliances, or ecosystem strategy , preferably in enterprise software or cloud solutions.
- Desirable - Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and related partner engagement models.
- Proven ability to build and nurture executive relationships with partners, stakeholders, and customers.
- Experience managing large-scale partner programs and strategic events across multiple geographies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills .
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives with measurable impact.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within an APJ market context with regional partner ecosystems.
- Familiarity with SAP solutions and partner ecosystem .
- Knowledge of the Application Lifecycle Management areas.
- Strong analytical skills to assess partner performance and program effectiveness.

The Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Expert Rollout Team Customer Experience & Solutions (CXS) organization in promoting and adopting the ALM product portfolio with customers, partners and colleagues. We are part of the Customer Service and Delivery board area. The ALM portfolio includes these products - SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Focused Run and SAP Solution Manager. The team is embedded in the regions and market units, bring unique skills of knowing the regional and local market with deep expertise in ALM products.
